(1) A sponsor and a public charter school may enter into a cooperative agreement with other school districts for the purpose of forming a partnership to provide educational services.
Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 338.080
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- Public charter school: means an elementary or secondary school offering a comprehensive instructional program operating under a written agreement entered into between a sponsor and an applicant and operating pursuant to this chapter. See Oregon Statutes 338.005
(2) A cooperative agreement entered into as provided by this section must:
(a) Be incorporated into the charter of the public charter school; and
(b) Describe the terms of the partnership between the sponsor, the public charter school and other school districts. [2011 c.682 § 2]
