(1) As used in this section, ‘student’ means an individual who is 16 or 17 years of age and is not emancipated pursuant to ORS § 419B.550 to 419B.558.

- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
(2) Notwithstanding ORS § 350.175, a student, with consent of a parent or legal guardian, may take a high school equivalency test. [2023 c.527 § 3]
