(1) A student who suffers an ascertainable loss of money, personal property or real property as a result of a violation of ORS § 350.278 or 350.280 may bring an action in a circuit court to recover the student’s actual damages.

  • Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
  • Personal property: All property that is not real property.
  • Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
