In the event that a public museum is established under ORS § 358.345, the city or two or more cities, acting through the governing body or museum commission, may:

- Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
(1) Acquire a site or sites for the museum.
(2) Construct a structure or structures to house the museum collection, or lease a structure or structures for such purpose for not more than 50 years.
