Nothing in ORS § 366.785 to 366.815 relieves the Department of Transportation of its statutory obligations with respect to the construction, reconstruction, maintenance, repair and improvement of streets or roads taken over by the state, or confers on the department jurisdiction or control over roads or streets benefited by ORS § 366.785 to 366.815, except as provided therein. Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 366.820
- Department: means the Department of Transportation. See Oregon Statutes 366.005
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
