The State Parks and Recreation Department may accept gifts or donations of moneys or property to be used for specific or general park and recreational purposes. Subject to the terms specified in a gift or donation, the State Parks and Recreation Commission may authorize use of gifts or donations in a manner that, in the commission’s judgment, best carries out the intent of the gift or donation. Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 390.155
- Commission: means the State Parks and Recreation Commission. See Oregon Statutes 390.005
- Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
