Subject to funds available, the Oregon Health Authority may provide medical assistance in the form of premium assistance for the purchase of health insurance coverage provided by public programs or private insurance, including but not limited to medical assistance described in ORS § 414.115. Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 414.117
- Medical assistance: includes any care or services for any individual who is a patient in a medical institution or any care or services for any individual who has attained 65 years of age or is under 22 years of age, and who is a patient in a private or public institution for mental diseases. 414.117 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS Chapter 414 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
