Oregon Statutes 419C.315 – Travel expenses of party summoned
The court may authorize payment of travel expenses of any party summoned. Except as provided in this section, responsibility for the payment of the cost of service of summons or other process on any party, and for payment of travel expenses so authorized, shall be borne by the party issuing the summons or requesting the court to issue the summons. When the Oregon Youth Authority issues the summons or requests the court to issue the summons, responsibility for such payment shall be borne by the county. When the court-appointed counsel for a youth, youth offender or young person issues the summons or requests the court to issue the summons, responsibility for the fees and costs associated with that summons shall be paid pursuant to ORS § 135.055.
