The Improving People’s Access to Community-based Treatment, Supports and Services Grant Review Committee established in ORS § 430.234 and the Oregon Health Authority may work together to include coordinated care organizations in the Improving People’s Access to Community-based Treatment, Supports and Services Program, as permitted by state and federal law, in a way that provides incentives for coordinated care organizations to provide comprehensive community supports and services, as defined in ORS § 430.230, to their members who have mental health or substance use disorders and be appropriately reimbursed for the costs of the supports and services. 430.243 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS Chapter 430 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
