Oregon Statutes 455.422 – New construction; recycling containers
(1) Each multifamily residential dwelling with more than 10 individual residential units that is constructed after October 4, 1997, should include adequate space and access for collection of containers for solid waste and recyclable materials.
(2) Each commercial building and each industrial and institutional building that is constructed after October 4, 1997, should include adequate space and access for collection of containers for solid waste and recyclable materials.
(3) As used in this section, ‘commercial,’ ‘recyclable material’ and ‘solid waste’ have the meanings given in ORS § 459.005. [Formerly 215.620]
455.422 was added to and made a part of ORS Chapter 455 by legislative action but was not added to any smaller series therein. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
