No person shall be appointed or employed as a building official or inspector by any municipality unless the person has been certified as being qualified under ORS § 455.715 to 455.740, and the certification has not lapsed or been revoked. [Formerly 456.820]
Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 455.730
- Municipality: means a city, county or other unit of local government otherwise authorized by law to administer a building code. See Oregon Statutes 455.010
- Person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, firms, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint stock companies. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
