As is necessary to protect the public health and safety, the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission may require a licensee to maintain general liability insurance in an amount that the commission determines is reasonably affordable and available for the purpose of protecting the licensee against damages resulting from a cause of action related to activities undertaken pursuant to the license held by the licensee.
