If a person is party to an agreement with the National Marine Fisheries Service or the United States Fish and Wildlife Service under the federal Endangered Species Act of 1973 (16 U.S.C. § 1531 to 1544) and is engaging in a forest practice in compliance with the agreement, the forest practice is not subject to provisions of ORS § 527.610 to 527.770 or rules adopted thereunder that relate to protection of a species addressed in the agreement.   • local government: means all cities, counties and local service districts located in this state, and all administrative subdivisions of those cities, counties and local service districts. See Oregon Statutes 174.116
  • Person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, firms, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint stock companies. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
  • United States: includes territories, outlying possessions and the District of Columbia. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
