At the next meeting of the board of directors of the corporation after an application is filed and the deposit for expenses paid, the secretary of the corporation shall present the application to the board of directors. The board shall fix a date and time for the members to consider the application at a meeting at the principal office of the corporation, which shall be either a special meeting called for that purpose or the next regular annual meeting of the members.
