A person who makes a complaint or who participates in a review and investigation of a complaint under ORS § 56.206 may not be subject to a penalty, sanction or restriction in connection with the person’s employment or be denied any right, privilege or benefit because of the complaint or because of any review and investigation of the complaint. [2013 c.699 § 5]

- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, firms, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint stock companies. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
