(1) The Attorney General may bring a civil action in the name of the state in any court of appropriate jurisdiction to:

- Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
(a) Impose a civil penalty under ORS § 646A.028 for violations of ORS § 646A.009; or
(b) Obtain an injunction to restrain violations of ORS § 646A.009.
(2) Civil penalties recovered under this section shall be deposited in the Department of Justice Protection and Education Revolving Account created under ORS § 180.095. [2023 c.536 § 6]
