An individual is disqualified for benefits for any week with respect to which or a part of which the individual has received, will receive or is claiming unemployment benefits under an unemployment insurance law of another state, the United States or any other governmental jurisdiction. However, if the appropriate agency of such other state, the United States or any other governmental jurisdiction finally determines that the individual is not entitled to such unemployment benefits, this disqualification shall not apply. Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 657.210
- Benefits: means the money allowances payable to unemployed persons under this chapter. See Oregon Statutes 657.010
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- United States: includes territories, outlying possessions and the District of Columbia. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
- Week: means any period of seven consecutive calendar days ending at midnight, as the director may prescribe by rule. See Oregon Statutes 657.010
