A person who engages in the practice of sexual abuse specific treatment as a certified clinical sexual offense therapist, and who did not hold an active Oregon mental health professional license or equivalent license as determined by the Health Licensing Office as of the date of the person’s initial certification, may continue to engage in the practice of sexual abuse specific treatment as a certified clinical sexual offense therapist only if the person obtains an Oregon mental health professional license or equivalent license as determined by the office not later than January 1, 2021.
