Oregon Statutes 689.207 – Authority of board to require fingerprints
For the purpose of requesting a state or nationwide criminal records check under ORS § 181A.195, the State Board of Pharmacy may require the fingerprints of a person who is:
Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 689.207
- Person: means an individual, corporation, partnership, association or other legal entity. See Oregon Statutes 689.005
- Pharmacy: means a place that meets the requirements of rules of the board, is licensed and approved by the board where the practice of pharmacy may lawfully occur and includes apothecaries, drug stores, dispensaries, hospital outpatient pharmacies, pharmacy departments and prescription laboratories but does not include a place used by a manufacturer or wholesaler. (1) Applying for a license or certificate that is issued by the board;
(2) Applying for renewal of a license or certificate that is issued by the board; or
(3) Under investigation by the board. [2005 c.730 § 68]
689.207 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS Chapter 689 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
