(1) A carrier offering a health benefit plan, an insurer offering insurance against the risk of economic loss assumed under a less than fully insured employee health plan described in ORS § 742.065 and a third party administrator licensed under ORS § 744.702 shall annually submit to the Department of Consumer and Business Services, in a form and manner prescribed by the department, data concerning the number of covered lives of the carrier, insurer or third party administrator, reported by line of business and by zip code.

(2) The department shall aggregate the data collected under subsection (1) of this section and may publish reports on the number of covered lives in Oregon, by line of business and by region. [Formerly 743.818]
