If a juvenile court finds a youth to be within the jurisdiction of the juvenile court under ORS § 419C.005 for committing an offense that is a ground for suspension or revocation upon conviction under ORS § 809.409, 809.411, 809.510 to 809.545 or 813.400 or any other law requiring suspension or revocation of driving privileges upon conviction of an offense, the juvenile court shall order the suspension or revocation of driving privileges that is required upon conviction of the offense. Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 809.412

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.

 

809.412 was added to and made a part of the Oregon Vehicle Code by legislative action but was not added to ORS Chapter 809 or any series therein. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
