The Director of the Oregon Department of Aviation and specially authorized representatives of the director may administer oaths, take depositions and issue subpoenas to compel the attendance of witnesses and the production of documents or other written information necessary to carry out the functions of the department. If any person fails to comply with a subpoena issued under this section or refuses to testify on matters on which the person lawfully may be interrogated, the procedure set out in ORS § 183.440 shall be followed to compel obedience. Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 835.110
- Department: means the Oregon Department of Aviation. See Oregon Statutes 835.005
- Director: means the Director of the Oregon Department of Aviation. See Oregon Statutes 835.005
- Person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, firms, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint stock companies. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
- Subpoena: A command to a witness to appear and give testimony.
- Testify: Answer questions in court.
