- Board: means the Oregon Medical Board. See Oregon Statutes 677.010
- City: includes any incorporated village or town. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
- License: means permission to practice, whether by license, registration or certification. See Oregon Statutes 677.010
- Person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, firms, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint stock companies. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
- Physician: means a person who holds a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or a person who holds a degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine if the context in which the term 'physician' is used does not authorize or require the person to practice outside the scope of a license issued under ORS § 677. - United States: includes territories, outlying possessions and the District of Columbia. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
