Terms Used In Oregon Statutes > Chapter 693 > General Provisions

  • Apprentice plumber: means any person who is an apprentice under ORS § 660. See Oregon Statutes 693.010
  • Board: means the State Plumbing Board. See Oregon Statutes 693.010
  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • Journeyman plumber: means any person holding a valid journeyman plumber license issued under this chapter. See Oregon Statutes 693.010
  • Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
  • Licensed plumbing contractor: means a person licensed as required under ORS § 447. See Oregon Statutes 693.010
  • Person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, firms, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint stock companies. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
  • Plumbing: has the meaning given that term in ORS § 447. See Oregon Statutes 693.010
