(a) Any sentence of a person convicted for any violation of this chapter may, at any time subsequent to the imposition of the sentence, be reduced by the court upon receipt of a motion for reduction of sentence submitted by the attorney general based upon the person’s demonstrated cooperation with law enforcement authorities in the investigation and prosecution of violations of this chapter.

- Person: means any corporation, association, partnership, or one or more individuals. See Rhode Island General Laws 21-28-1.02
(b) Nothing contained in this section shall in any way limit the court’s authority pursuant to Rule 35 of the Superior Court Rules of Criminal Procedure.
