In case any owner of any boiler or pressure vessel is dissatisfied with the decision of the division in any matter, he or she may within two (2) days after the decision demand, in writing, a hearing before the occupational safety and health review board pursuant to chapter 20 of this title.

Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws 28-25-14
- Boiler: means a closed vessel in which water or other liquid is heated, steam or vapor generated, steam is superheated, or in which any combination of these functions is accomplished, under pressure or vacuum, for use externally to itself, by the direct application of energy from the combustion of fuels or from electricity or nuclear energy. - in writing: include printing, engraving, lithographing, and photo-lithographing, and all other representations of words in letters of the usual form. See Rhode Island General Laws 43-3-16
- Owner: means any person owning, operating, or in charge or control of any boiler or pressure vessel as defined in this section including the chief administrative officer in the private or public sector. See Rhode Island General Laws 28-25-1
- Pressure vessel: means a vessel in which the pressure is obtained from an external source or by the application of heat other than those vessels defined in subsection (7) of this section. See Rhode Island General Laws 28-25-1
