(a) The property comprised in the inventory shall be appraised by the executor or administrator.
Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws 33-9-4
- Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
- Executor: A male person named in a will to carry out the decedent
(b) Upon the petition of any party in interest, the court may appoint one or more appraisers to value assets of the estate specified in the petition. The appraisers shall be sworn to the faithful discharge of their trust.
