Each local public agency shall designate a coordinator who shall serve as the point of contact in working with the 911 authority or any other agency that may replace it.

- Public agency: means the state government and any unit of local government or special purpose district located in whole or in part within the state that provides, or has authority to provide, firefighting, law enforcement, ambulance, medical, or other emergency services.
