Rhode Island General Laws 42-72.2-4. Cooperation of other state agencies with the family support program
(a) The department of health shall develop agreements with the department of children, youth, and families, the department of elementary and secondary education, the department of human services, and the department of behavioral healthcare, developmental disabilities and hospitals to delineate the role and function of each department. In order to carry out the provisions of this chapter, each of the foregoing departments shall assign a staff person who will assume responsibility for implementation of the program and each department shall provide statistical and analytical data needed to carry out the provisions of this chapter.

(b) Each of the foregoing departments shall enter into an agreement with the family support program and shall join with the program in a cooperative effort to carry out the provisions of § 42-72.2-2.
