Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to restrict, amend, repeal, or otherwise supersede the jurisdiction of the city zoning board of review over any area designated a special development district pursuant to this chapter.

Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws 45-24.4-15
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- Special development district: means an area of a city established, designated, laid out, or defined by a city council pursuant to this chapter because it is or may be the subject of combined federal, state, local, and private action relating to a railroad relocation project.
