(a) Printed copies of the zoning ordinance and map(s) of a city or town shall be available to the general public and revised to include all amendments. A reasonable charge may be made for copies to reflect printing and distribution costs.

- town: may be construed to include city; the words "town council" include city council; the words "town clerk" include city clerk; the words "ward clerk" include clerk of election district; the words "town treasurer" include city treasurer; and the words "town sergeant" include city sergeant. (b) Upon publication of a zoning ordinance and map, and any amendments to them, the city or town clerk shall send a copy, without charge, to the state law library.
