The district shall at all times keep full and accurate accounts of its receipts, expenditures, disbursements, assets and liabilities, which shall be open to inspection by any officer or duly appointed agent of the state or the town.

Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws 45-48.1-21
- Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
- Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
- town: may be construed to include city; the words "town council" include city council; the words "town clerk" include city clerk; the words "ward clerk" include clerk of election district; the words "town treasurer" include city treasurer; and the words "town sergeant" include city sergeant.
