The authority and its members are under a statutory duty to comply or to cause compliance strictly with all provisions of this title and the laws of the state, and in addition thereto, with each and every term, provision, and covenant in any contract of the authority on its part to be kept or performed.

Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws 45-50-5.1
- authority: means any municipal public buildings authority created pursuant to this chapter, or, if the authority is abolished, the board, body, or commission succeeding to the principal functions or upon whom the powers of the authority given by this chapter are given by law. - Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- state: means and includes the state of Rhode Island, and any office, department, board, commission, bureau, division, authority, public corporation, agency, or instrumentality thereof. See Rhode Island General Laws 45-50-9
