Rhode Island General Laws 5-1-6. Board – Records of proceedings – Roster of architects – Report of transactions
(a) The board executive of the board shall keep a record of its proceedings. The record shall include the name, age, and last known address of each applicant for registration; information concerning each applicant’s education, experience, and other qualifications; the text of all examinations administered and their results; and any other information that the board deems appropriate. The record of the board is prima facie evidence of the proceedings and a certified transcript by the board executive is admissible in evidence with the same force and effect as if the original were produced.

- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- town: may be construed to include city; the words "town council" include city council; the words "town clerk" include city clerk; the words "ward clerk" include clerk of election district; the words "town treasurer" include city treasurer; and the words "town sergeant" include city sergeant. See Rhode Island General Laws 43-3-9
- Transcript: A written, word-for-word record of what was said, either in a proceeding such as a trial or during some other conversation, as in a transcript of a hearing or oral deposition.
(b) The board shall maintain a roster of architects. Copies of the roster may be mailed annually to resident architects and to federal agencies within the state, and to state, city, and town officials, and may be distributed or sold to the public.
