Any person aggrieved by any final decision or ruling of the division or the director has a right to appeal as provided in chapter 35 of Title 42.

Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws 5-25-16
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- Director: means the director of the Rhode Island department of health. See Rhode Island General Laws 5-25-2
- Division: means the division of professional regulation within the department of health established in chapter 26 of this title. See Rhode Island General Laws 5-25-2
- person: may be construed to extend to and include co-partnerships and bodies corporate and politic. See Rhode Island General Laws 43-3-6
