(a) Complaints for violation of the provisions of this chapter or of any lawful rules or regulation made under this chapter by the division may be made by the administrator of the division or by any person authorized by the administrator, who shall be exempt from giving surety for costs on that complaint.
Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws 5-33.2-22
- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Division: means the division of professional regulation created under chapter 26 of this title. See Rhode Island General Laws 5-33.2-1
- Person: includes individuals, partnerships, corporations, limited-liability companies, associations, and organizations of all kinds. See Rhode Island General Laws 5-33.2-1
(b) All complaints filed with the division charging a person or establishment with having been guilty of any actions specified in this chapter or the rules and regulations must be sworn and notarized.
