Any person aggrieved by a decision or ruling of the director of the department of health or the board may appeal to the superior court in the manner provided in the administrative procedures act, chapter 35 of Title 42.

Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws 5-63.2-26
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- Board: means the board of mental health counselors and marriage and family therapists. See Rhode Island General Laws 5-63.2-2
- Person: means any individual, firm, corporation, partnership, organization, or body politic. See Rhode Island General Laws 5-63.2-2
