In addition to the enforcement of §§ 10-11-30 to 10-11-70 and subsection (2) of § 10-11-80 by the watchmen mentioned in § 10-11-90, all lawful highway patrolmen and police officers of the city of Columbia may enforce the criminal laws of this State and the provisions of such sections and subsection within the area described in §§ 10-11-30 and 10-11-40 and subsection (2) of § 10-11-80.
