- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
If a final order of a chief procurement officer or the Procurement Review Panel is not appealed in accordance with the provisions of this code, upon request of a party to the proceedings, the chief procurement officer or Procurement Review Panel may file a certified copy of the final ruling with a clerk of the circuit court, or a court of competent jurisdiction, as requested. After filing, the certified ruling has the same effect as a judgment of the court where filed and may be recorded, enforced, or satisfied in the same manner as a judgment of that court.
