- Clerk of court: An officer appointed by the court to work with the chief judge in overseeing the court's administration, especially to assist in managing the flow of cases through the court and to maintain court records.
- Probate: Proving a will
For any indexing or notation under § 30-9-50 or 30-9-60 the clerk or register shall charge a fee of twenty-five cents for each paper indexed in the office of the clerk of court or register of deeds and the judge of probate shall charge a fee of twenty-five cents for each indexing in accordance with the provisions of said sections.
