Terms Used In South Carolina Code 34-13-90

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
A person who violates the provisions of § 34-13-80 is guilty of a felony and, upon conviction, must be fined in the discretion of the court or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.
