Terms Used In South Carolina Code 34-29-70
- Board: shall mean the State Board of Bank Control and its duly authorized deputies. See South Carolina Code 34-29-10
- License: shall mean the privilege certificate issued by the Board under the authority of this chapter to conduct the business regulated by this chapter. See South Carolina Code 34-29-10
- Licensee: shall mean a person to whom one or more licenses have been issued. See South Carolina Code 34-29-10
Should a licensee sell his outstanding loan contracts and surrender his license, the Board shall issue a license to make loans under this chapter at the specific location from which the business sold was conducted to the purchaser of such loan contracts without reference to whether the convenience and advantage of the community will be promoted thereby and without the notice to other licensees as provided by § 34-29-40 (a), if the purchaser shall qualify in all other respects for the issuance of such license.
