The supplemental report required by § 38-13-300 may include, but is not limited to, the following types of insurance written by the insurer:

(a) political subdivision liability insurance reported separately in the following categories:

  • insurance: includes annuities. See South Carolina Code 38-1-20
  • Insurer: includes a corporation, fraternal organization, burial association, other association, partnership, society, order, individual, or aggregation of individuals engaging or proposing or attempting to engage as principals in any kind of insurance or surety business, including the exchanging of reciprocal or interinsurance contracts between individuals, partnerships, and corporations. See South Carolina Code 38-1-20

(1) municipalities;

(2) school districts;

(3) other political subdivisions;

(b) public official liability insurance;

(c) dram shop liability insurance;

(d) day care center liability insurance;

(e) labor, fraternal, or religious organizations liability insurance;

(f) errors and omissions liability insurance;

(g) officers and directors liability insurance reported separately as follows:

(1) nonprofit entities;

(2) for-profit entities;

(h) products liability insurance;

(i) medical malpractice insurance;

(j) attorney malpractice insurance;

(k) architects and engineers malpractice insurance; and

(l) motor vehicle insurance reported separately for commercial and private passenger vehicles as follows:

(1) motor vehicle liability insurance first-party benefits;

(2) motor vehicle bodily injury liability insurance;

(3) motor vehicle property liability insurance;

(4) uninsured motorist insurance; and

(5) underinsured motorist insurance.
