Terms Used In South Carolina Code 40-60-150
- Board: means the South Carolina Real Estate Appraisers Board established pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. See South Carolina Code 40-60-20
- Person: means an individual, corporation, partnership, or association, foreign and domestic. See South Carolina Code 40-60-20
A licensee under investigation for a violation of this chapter or a regulation promulgated under this chapter may voluntarily surrender the license to practice in accordance with and subject to the provisions of § 40-1-150. A person whose license is voluntarily surrendered may not practice or represent himself or herself to be authorized to practice until the board takes final action in the pending disciplinary matter. The voluntary surrender of a license is subject to public disclosure in accordance with Chapter 4 of Title 30. The time that an authorization has been surrendered may be credited, in the board’s discretion, toward any period of suspension or other restriction of practice.
