Terms Used In South Carolina Code 47-15-80
- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
- Person: means the State, any municipality, political subdivision, institution, public or private corporation, individual, partnership, or any other entity. See South Carolina Code 47-15-10
A person who violates this chapter or regulations promulgated under it is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be punished in accordance with § 47-4-130. The person may be enjoined from continuing the violation. Each day on which a violation occurs constitutes a separate violation.
