The Governor on behalf of this State may execute a compact, in substantially the form set out in § 48-37-20, with any one or more of the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia, and the legislature hereby signifies in advance its approval and ratification of such compact.
