Terms Used In South Carolina Code 50-25-1120
- Boat: means a vessel. See South Carolina Code 50-21-10
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
The motorboats competing in a regatta, boat race, marine parade, tournament or exhibition approved as provided in § 50-21-1010 shall be exempted from the provisions of this article. Exceptions may also be granted during designated hours for pretrial runs and for trial runs for speed records immediately following the event.
