The Department of Transportation, before constructing a bridge or replacing an existing bridge which qualifies as a turnpike facility as defined in § 57-5-1320, shall conduct the feasibility study required by § 57-5-1330 and shall forward copies of the study to the Chairman of the Transportation and Finance Committees of the Senate and the Education and Public Works and Ways and Means Committees of the House of Representatives within fifteen days of the completion of the study.
