Nothing contained in §§ 59-111-510 to 59-111-580 shall be construed to alter in any manner the law, rules or regulations governing admissions of students to The Medical University of South Carolina and all admissions of beneficiaries of scholarships under said sections shall be likewise subject to approval by the admitting authorities in the same manner as otherwise provided by law.
