In addition to any other remedy provided by law, the commissioner may proceed by suit in any court of competent jurisdiction to enforce the terms and provisions of §§ 1-53-38 to 1-53-47, inclusive, and of any license issued pursuant to §§ 1-53-38 to 1-53-47, inclusive. The commissioner may as a part of any such suit seek injunctive relief.

- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
